Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a message to Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov congratulating him on his election to this post

The message said, in part:

"I am looking forward to active joint work aiming to further expand the traditionally friendly Russian-Bulgarian relations and to completely tap their rich potential."
