Prime Minister Vladimir Putin congratulated members of staff at Tulamashzavod on the 70th anniversary of the company’s founding
The telegram reads, in part:
"This major anniversary is a momentous event for the company's employees past and present, and worthy grounds to recognise your contribution to the development of the country's defence industry. Tulamashzavod by right serves as one of the chief, recognised industry leaders, and for many decades has produced cutting-edge, high demand products. The company supplies the Army and the Navy with the newest forms of military technology and weaponry. It also confidently competes with the leading foreign arms manufacturers.
The company's assets include a modern technical and technological base, a wealth of scientific and creative potential among its employees, and an efficient and organised approach to management. And, of course, Tulamashzavod carefully preserves the finest traditions of Tula armourers, displaying craftsmanship, initiative, and responsibility."
