Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a message to delegates of the 5th business forum of domestic industry enterprises organised by the National Public Organisation Business Russia

The message said:

"The forum which has won well-deserved prestige involves increasing numbers of business leaders, representatives of the analytical community and specialised ministries and departments. The forum has become an effective platform for constructive dialogue between the business community and the state, for discussing key economic issues and proposing fresh innovative solutions.

"I believe that the current forum, which is taking place in a complicated economic situation, should make its contribution to drafting proposals on the diversification of the Russian economy, promoting competition and private enterprise. This implies specific key aspects which will help make the Russian economy stronger and more stable, and will also increase efficiency in the national non-commodity sector."
