Prime Minister Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko

Today, on Russia's initiative, a telephone conversation took place between Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

During the conversation, Mr Putin and Ms Tymoshenko discussed various aspects of cooperation between the two countries in trade and the economy, including the implementation of decisions made recently in Moscow at the meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Ukrainian Committee on Economic Cooperation.

During the telephone conversation Mr Putin congratulated Ms Tymoshenko on the upcoming celebration of Victory Day in the Second World War.
