Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed an executive order to transform the Government Department of Sectoral Development and the Government Department of Priority National Projects into the Government Department of Industry and Infrastructure
With a view to enhancing the efficiency of the Government's work, ensuring better coordination in the implementation of national projects and priority areas of industrial development, as well as streamlining the structure of the Government Staff, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed an executive order to transform the Government Department of Sectoral Development and the Government Department of Priority National Projects into the Government Department of Industry and Infrastructure. Similarly, the Government Department of Economic Mobilisation and the Formation of the State Defence Order of the Governmental Military-Industrial Commission will be transformed into the Government Department for Ensuring the Work of the Governmental Military-Industrial Commission.
In addition, Prime Minister Putin charged the Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Government Staff to approve the structure, number of personnel and sphere of competence of the Government Department of Industry and Infrastructure and the Government Department for Ensuring the Work of the Governmental Military-Industrial Commission, as well as to introduce necessary changes to the structure, number of personnel and sphere of competence of the structural subdivisions of the Government Staff, in line with the present Executive Order.
