Prime Minister Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Romanian President Traian Basescu to inform him that Ukraine was blocking its pipelines to Russian natural gas
President Basescu expressed profound concern and said he shared the Russian opinion on Ukraine's responsibility for Russian gas transit to Europe.
