The Czech Prime Minister informed his Russian counterpart about the progress on creating control mechanisms of Russian gas transit for European consumers through Ukraine, as well as his forthcoming visit to Kiev.
In his turn, Prime Minister Putin highlighted the necessity of setting up an international multilateral monitoring commission as soon as possible, signing a corresponding document, and sending experts to the area.
During the conversation, Prime Ministers Putin and Topolánek arranged the Czech Prime Minister's January 10 visit to Moscow.
