Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra and its Music Director Pavel Kogan on its 65th anniversary

 
 
 

His message said, in part:

"This jubilee is a landmark of Russian culture and world symphonic music. You have every right to take pride in the achievements of outstanding composers, conductors and performers whose work has been closely linked to the orchestra. The preceding decades have brought it renown. Today, you delight music lovers throughout the world with brilliant renditions and an extensive repertory."
