Vladimir Putin approved a Concept for the Long-Term Social and Economic Development of Russia through 2020
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order No. 1662-r of November 17, 2008:
1. To approve the attached Concept for Long-Term Social and Economic Development of the Russian Federation through 2020.
2. For the Ministry of Economic Development to forecast the long-term social and economic development of the Russian Federation through 2030 with assistance from the federal executive bodies concerned and to submit it to the Russian Government in the established procedure before August 1, 2009.
3. For federal executive bodies and executive bodes in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, to be guided by the provisions of the Concept for Long-Term Social and Economic Development of the Russian Federation through 2020 when preparing target documents, plans and statistics characterising their activity.
