Vladimir Putin sent congratulations to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Cambodian Independence Day

The message said, in part:

"I am confident that the friendship and cooperation between Russia and the Kingdom of Cambodia will further grow, benefiting our peoples through the promotion of peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region."

Mr Putin wished the Cambodian Prime Minister the best of health and every success and the people of a friendly Cambodia, well-being and prosperity.
