Prime Minister Vladimir Putin expressed deep condolences on the death of opera singer Muslim Magomayev

His message addressed to Tamara Sinyavskaya, the widow of the singer, said, in part: 

"Muslim Magomayev will forever remain in our memory as a true star, as a symbol of an era. He generously shared his talent and his brilliant gift with people, and was sincerely loved for that. This is a great and irreplaceable loss for all of us, for Russia's culture."
