Vladimir Putin sends greetings to participants, organisers and guests of the 11th Junior Delphic Games in Russia
The message reads, in part:
"Congratulations on the opening of the 11th Junior Delphic Games in Russia.
"Your forum is gaining momentum year after year. Its popularity is growing, and its programme is becoming broader and more spectacular. The current games are devoted to the Year of Russian History and rightfully hold an important place in the schedule of events timed to celebrate this occasion. Today, young people from all regions of this country are meeting again in hospitable Moscow to showcase, in a friendly and informal atmosphere, their talents in music, dance, painting, literature, and acting, as well as to meet people of the same age and to enjoy the capital in springtime.
"I am sure that the prestigious jury will fulfil its lofty mission and will identify the best of the best, those who will soon defend the honour of Russia at the International Delphic Games. And the numerous participants and spectators will remember the games as a festival of creativity, gift and youth."
