Vladimir Putin sends a message of congratulations to Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich on the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus

The message reads, in part:

"Recently, Russia and Belarus have made significant progress in strengthening their union and deepening their integration. Of particular importance in this was the formation of structures like the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space. I am certain that the continuation of joint efforts to strengthen bilateral and multilateral international ties will fully serve the fundamental interests of both Russia and Belarus."
