Prime Minister Vladimir Putin offers condolences to French Prime Minister Francois Fillon over the tragedy in Toulouse

The message reads, in part:

"I am deeply shocked by the monstrous and coldblooded crime – the shooting of schoolchildren and their teacher at a school in Toulouse. Please accept my most sincere condolences, and convey my sympathy and support to the families of the victims of this outrageous massacre.

I would like to assure you of our deep feelings for your country which is going through a severe shock caused by this tragedy. Russia is more than familiar with the threat of terrorism, which is often targeted at the most vulnerable of us – children. We will continue our close cooperation with the French government in fighting this threat."
