Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a message of condolence to his Belgian counterpart Elio Di Rupo on the bus crash in Switzerland in which Belgian schoolchildren were involved

 
 
 

The message reads, in part:

"On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and myself I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences on the death of a large group of Belgian schoolchildren and other citizens of your country in a bus crash in the Swiss canton of Valais. No one can fail to be touched by this tragedy.

"We are mourning together with those who have lost their loved ones and hope for the full recovery of all those who have been injured."
