"I am happy that the idea of holding this truly popular forum received wide support and has alredy been successfully implemented. This festival aims to unite thousands of people across the country – both the young and the older generation, everyone who enjoys fishing, appreciates a healthy lifestyle and outdoor activities.

For its part, the Russian government will make every effort to keep amateur fishing accessible to everyone and to organise it in accordance with the most up-to-date, civilised standards."
