At their meeting, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Shokhin reviewed the year in terms of entrepreneurial activity in Russia and the business community's cooperation with the state. Two-thirds of the companies surveyed by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs assess their performance in the outgoing year as good or satisfactory. As was pointed out during the conversation, a number of systemic reforms have been effected in Russia in 2011 which have proved beneficial for the country's business climate.
Mr Shokhin invited the prime minister to attend the RUIE's February 9, 2012 conference, timed to mark the organisation's 20th anniversary.
