Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends message of congratulations to professors, lecturers, employees, undergraduate and post-graduate students and alumni at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology on its 60th anniversary

The message reads, in part:
"You can feel proud of your higher educational institute's history and its legendary founders – Pyotr Kapitsa, Nikolai Semyonov, Lev Landau and Sergei Khristianovich. The work and talent of these outstanding scientists created a unique system for training skilled specialists in the high-priority disciplines of theoretical science and engineering. The whole world knows this system as the 'Institute of Physics and Technology system'.
"Just as in past decades, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (state university) is renowned for its traditions, competent educators and its gifted and dedicated students. Consequently, its diplomas represent profound and substantial knowledge and serve as a reliable career guarantee.
