Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a greeting message to the Foster Families Forum

His telegram says, in part:

"The upbringing of children devoid of parental care, and the protection of their rights and interests is a noble mission of the utmost responsibility. It is our duty to provide every condition for all children to be surrounded by care, and find a hearth and home with loving hearts. The fate of children and the entire nation's moral health depend on how we address these problems.

I stress that the Russian government will always offer its full support to foster families – to people who treat others' troubles as their own, and who assume the sublime duty of bringing children up in loving care."
