Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends congratulations to participants, guests and organisers of the gala concert Italy-Russia, part of the Year of the Russian Language and Culture in Italy and the Year of the Italian Language and Culture in Russia
The message reads, in part:
"It is important that these interesting and beautiful projects bring our countries together and improve the atmosphere of mutual understanding between our nations. Today we will see a unique creative duo of the Rome Opera House and the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, the world's two greatest stages. The concert, one of the major events during the Year of the Russian Language and Culture in Italy and the Year of the Italian Language and Culture in Russia, will become a real gift for dance lovers.
I am sure that the performances of these renowned ballet dancers will be a real pleasure and that the concert and all the big events of the year of national cultures will contribute to the development of cultural relations and the centuries-old traditions of friendship between our countries and people."
