On November 7, 2011, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will attend a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in St Petersburg

This meeting will mark the 10th anniversary of the SCO. The meeting's agenda will include the further refinement of the organisation, practical measures for promoting cooperation in trade, economic, financial, research and development, agricultural, cultural and other areas. The parties will also exchange their views on the latest regional and international issues.

A summary of the meeting will be included in a joint communiqué and a series of resolutions to be signed by the heads of government.

Vladimir Putin will also meet individually with the heads of some foreign delegations.
