Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends condolences to Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdoğan over earthquake in Turkey

The message reads, in part:
"We wish to express our sincere condolences for the people and the government of Turkey over the powerful earthquake that resulted in many casualties and much destruction in the eastern part of the country. We are ready to provide any assistance that may be necessary in dealing with the aftermath of this natural disaster.
"Please pass my deepest sympathy to the relatives of those who perished in this tragedy, and my hope that the injured will recover quickly."
