The message reads, in part:
"With every passing year this wonderful sporting event continues to gain popularity, to engage a larger number of participating schools, to include new disciplines and to expand the geographic diversity of the participants. Young athletes from all over Russia have an opportunity to demonstrate their artistry, compete with athletes of the same age, and gain experience by participating in real and serious competition. The best of the competitors will then represent the nation at international events.
I am convinced that the All-Russian Martial Arts Games will be successful and serve an important cause, i.e. to engage the youth and to motivate them to lead a healthy lifestyle".
