Prime Minister Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Massimov

The two heads of government shared opinions on a range of issues related to the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. They also discussed the progress in creating a Common Economic Space between the three countries, which is to become effective on January 1, 2012.
Messrs Putin and Massimov also discussed preparations for the EurAsEC heads of government meeting in November.
