Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a message of congratulations to Uzbek Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Uzbekistan’s Independence Day

 
 
 

The message reads, in part:

"The relations between our countries are based on traditions of friendship and mutual respect. A constructive dialogue has expanded on all levels, in addition to continued cooperation in trade, the economy, investment, science and culture.

I am confident that further development of the Russian-Uzbek strategic partnership and the expansion of regional cooperation serve the interests of our nations, as well as stability and security in Central Asia.

I wish you good health, happiness and success, and peace, well-being and prosperity to all Uzbek people."
