Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a message to the delegates and guests of the 14th Tomsk Innovation Forum
The message reads, in part:
"With every passing year, your forum strengthens its position and attracts the attention of major Russian and foreign experts, government officials and the business community. The forum discusses the important issues in Russia's economy innovation development, ways of making it more competitive and improving the investment climate at a high professional level. The forum's international format helps strengthen business and personal contacts and implement our plans.
"I am confident that your proposals and recommendations will be in high demand, as we strive to accomplish ambitious objectives in the modernisation and retooling of the Russian economy, and that the forum will give the go-ahead to numerous bold and breakthrough projects, primarily those linked with the potential of the Siberian regions."
