Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signs Resolution No. 413 “On Conducting State Safety Inspections of Motor Vehicles and Trailers Registered with the Interior Ministry’s State Road Traffic Safety Inspection” dated May 24,2011
The document stipulates that the deadline for receiving a state safety inspection for motor vehicles and trailers registered with the Interior Ministry's State Road Traffic Safety Inspection for 2011 will be delayed for 12 months unless otherwise stipulated by legislation specified in Item B, Paragraph 4 of the Regulations on Safety Inspections of Motor Vehicles and Trailers by the Interior Ministry's State Road Traffic Safety Inspection, which was approved by Resolution No.880 "On the Procedure for State Safety Inspections of Vehicles Registered with the Interior Ministry's State Road Traffic Safety Inspection" dated July 31,1998.
The safety inspection of motor vehicles and trailers that have been operated for 12 months or less will be held without actually verifying their technical condition using diagnostics tools during their registration with the Interior Ministry's State Road Traffic Safety Inspection.
