Prime Minister Vladimir Putin issued Executive Order No. 948-R of June 28, 2008 to reorganise the state educational higher professional learning institution Russian State Medical University and the federal state institution Russian Gerontology Research and Clinical Centre by incorporating the latter into the former and creating an independent structural unit.
