Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and US Vice President Joseph Biden talk by phone on bilateral relations

Prime Minister Putin and Vice President Biden discussed the progress made in US-Russian relations since Mr Biden’s recent visit to Russia. The two leaders took up several issues on the bilateral agenda for trade and the economy, in particular Russia’s WTO accession.

Vice President Biden invited Prime Minister Putin to visit the United States, assuring him that both he and President Barack Obama would be personally happy to see him.
