Prime Minister Vladimir Putin congratulates Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev on his re-election
The message reads, in part:
"The election outcome is clear evidence of the high respect you enjoy among the people of Kazakhstan. They associate you with the impressive achievements in the development of the country, its economic progress and the improved living standards during Kazakhstan's independent development.
"The elections have also shown that the people support your efforts to strengthen relations between our countries, to promote integration within the CIS, and to form the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space. The voters have also expressed their complete trust in Nur Otan, the party you chair, which is actively cooperating with our leading party, United Russia.
"I wholeheartedly wish you health, prosperity and new achievements to the benefit of the friendly people of Kazakhstan."
