The message reads, in part:

"The rural sports movement in our country has a rich history and bright traditions. It is vitally important that the popularity of the games increases every year, attracting new participants and guests. The Games play an invaluable role in strengthening people's health, promoting healthy living, and boosting the development of modern sports infrastructure in the rural areas. Finally, the competitions are useful in training professional athletes and building up a strong sports reserve.

I wish all competitors in the V All-Russia Winter Rural Sports Games new victories and achievements, and their supporters – bright and interesting impressions and memorable encounters."
