Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends greetings to visitors and participants in the 12th National Housing and Public Utilities Forum and the Sixth Industry Exhibition “Advanced Technology and Equipment in the Housing and Public Utilities Sector”
The message of greetings reads, in part:
"These prominent events, which brought together top officials of government ministries and agencies, businesspeople, and civil engineers, provide a great opportunity for an extensive discussion on a range of development goals in the national housing and public utilities sector, and in the overhaul of the infrastructure... Comprehensive modernisation, cost-effective management and the introduction of transparent cost processes are the basic guarantee of improved and affordable public utility services.
"I hope that your forum will become a popular platform for dialogue between the business community and the government, and that it will promote the best of the regional experience. Moreover, we need to search for agreed-upon solutions in eliminating administrative barriers in the sector and attracting additional investment for development purposes."
