“You have collaborated with various theatre companies over the course of your career, and each of your many productions is a testament to your professionalism, impeccable taste, and talent for casting.  In the past few years, you have been realising your vast creative potential as artistic director of the Alexandrinsky Theatre. You have managed to maintain the glorious traditions of this company, one of Russia’s oldest and most renowned, while also incorporating some of your innovative ideas.”
