The message was addressed to Tatyana Shmyga’s husband, composer Anatoly Kremer, and reads, in part:
“Please accept my deepest condolences, sincere support, and compassion on the sad occasion of the death of your wife.
“We have lost a vivacious and talented actress, as well as a truly honest and creative individual. Her unique voice, charm, and unstinted devotion to her profession made her an icon and the peerless prima donna of the Moscow Operetta Theatre.
“The memory of Tatyana Shmyga will remain forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and the admirers of her abundant talent.
