Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends his congratulations to the staff of the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History (RGASPI) on the 90th anniversary of its establishment

The message reads, in part:

“Over the decades, the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History (RGASPI) has evolved into one of the largest and richest archival collections in Russia and the world. Its documentary and museum collections are rightfully considered to be priceless assets. The staff of the archive has always been renowned for its professionalism, competence and responsibility and, most importantly, its genuine enthusiasm and selfless devotion to the noble cause of preserving our common national memory.

“I am convinced that you will carry on the wonderful traditions of many generations of your predecessors and make a substantial contribution to the preservation of Russia’s historical and cultural heritage, expanding archival work in the country.”
