Prime Minister Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the leader of the Libyan Revolution, Muammar al-Gaddafi

Vladimir Putin and Muammar al-Gaddafi spoke in favour of continuing the beneficial and open dialogue between the two countries, and underscored the mutual interest in stepping up both civil and military cooperation.

Vladimir Putin stressed the necessity of fulfilling the agreements reached during the recent Russia-Libyan summit, and stated that, as Prime Minister, he will pay due attention to it.
