Prime Minister Vladimir Putin congratulated heads of state of CIS countries on Victory Day

"The valour of our countrymen who fought Nazism for all countries' sake will forever remain in the memory of future generations," says his message to Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasi-zade.
The message to Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisyan says, in part: "These days, we remember the heroic efforts that led to the rout of Nazism. We remember those who achieved the Great Victory. It is our duty to cherish the memory of the trials our nations shared in fighting Nazism. We will draw valuable lessons from it and pass on the priceless experience of solidarity to future generations."
The message to Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky says, in part: "I am sure that our nations will never forger the price we paid for the victory over Nazism. The war-tested fraternal unity of our peoples lies to this day at the basis of contact between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, and is an impetus for our progress towards a closer bilateral partnership aimed at our countries' prosperity."
The message to Georgian Prime Minister Lado Gurgenidze says, in part: "The historic feat of our fathers and grandfathers, who fought Nazism together, will forever stay in the memory of mankind."
Mr Putin asked to pass his "hearty congratulations to veterans of World War II, and wishes of peace and prosperity to the entire Georgian nation".
The message to Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov says: "The Russian and Kazakh peoples cherish this celebration as they have fully shared the bitter losses of World War II and the triumph of victory. Our countries revere this day as a tribute to their glorious past. It also symbolises cultural values that Russia and Kazakhstan share."
The message to Kyrgyz Prime Minister Igor Chudinov says: "The present and future generations of the Russian and Kyrgyz peoples will always cherish the memory of our fathers and grandfathers' valour on the battlefield and dedicated work in the rear for the shared victory over Nazism."
In his message to Moldovan Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanii, Mr Putin expressed his assurance that "shared history and unity in a time of trials and tribulations are destined today to provide a sound basis for a continued Russian-Moldovan partnership."
The message to Tajik Prime Minister Akil Akilov says: "On this memorable day, we are paying tribute to the memory of those who paid for the Great Victory over Nazism in the trials at the frontline and in the rear with all their strength and with life itself."
The message to Turkmen President and Prime Minister Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov says: "The heroic feat of our fathers, who defended the freedom and independence of their Fatherland and saved the country from Nazi oppression in the years of World War II, will be forever present in the memory of the Russian and Turkmen nations."
The message to Uzbek Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyayev says: "On this day, we gratefully recollect the unprecedented feat of glory of our nations' sons and daughters who rose to defend their Fatherland and rout the enemy. We bow to the memory of those who selflessly worked in the war effort."
The message to Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko says, in part: "Ever since the victory, its memory has brought our nations together in the pride of this unprecedented feat of valour by our fathers and grandfathers, who defended the freedom and independence of their Fatherland in a heroic struggle."
