Prime Minister Vladimir Putin congratulates the staff of the Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry on the institution’s 185th anniversary

"The academy founded by the prominent Russian educator and patron Sergei Stroganov has united powerful creative forces and become one of Russia's oldest and most respected specialised higher education institutions.

"You can rightfully be proud of your institution's wonderful history, rich traditions and the tremendous contribution that this legendary university and its professors and alumni have made to the establishment and evolution of Russia's fine, applied and decorative arts and world-renowned schools of design, restoration and arts studies.

"I am confident that standing on the shoulders of past generations and using cutting-edge education technology the academy will continue teaching talented, highly qualified and in-demand professionals."
