Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends his congratulations to the Association of Russian Regional Banks on its 20th anniversary

The message reads, in part:

"In recent years, your association, which brings together more than 450 integral, small and medium-sized lending institutions, public organisations, and media outlets from many regions of the country, has gained considerable and diverse experience, made a significant contribution to the development of the country's banking system, and garnered well-deserved recognition both in the Russian and international professional community.

"Today the association and its members faces serious challenges – improving bank services, providing enough credit to the real sector of the economy, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, and expanding access to mortgages and other popular bank products."
