Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends his greetings to participants and organisers of the TEFI 2010 National Television Competition
The message reads, in part:
"The tradition of holding this competition has rightfully been acknowledged not only as one of the country's most promising and successful creative projects but also as a significant event for all those who work in television and for our country's cultural life as a whole. The forum always features an interesting and diverse programme, showcasing the work of Russian TV's old hands and rising stars alike, really giving all its participants a massive creative boost. Indeed, the contribution that this competition makes in advancing Russia's integrated information space and supporting regional broadcasting companies and production teams cannot go unmentioned.
I am convinced that this year, as always, the bronze Orpheus statuette, something anyone who has dedicated their life to television dreams of winning, will be awarded to the very best nominee."
