Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed an executive order adopting a strategic plan for the development of hydrometeorology and related fields up to 2030, which includes a package of measures for the first phase from 2010 to 2012.
The strategy takes into account ongoing and anticipated climate changes. The government recommends that federal and regional executive bodies consider the objectives set forth in this document while implementing plans for the social and economic development of the Russian Federation.
