Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends greetings to participants and guests of 8th International Banking Forum, Banks of Russia – 21st Century

The message reads in part: 

"Today, in this period of post-downturn recovery, the banking sector is set to play the key role in the progressive development of Russia's economy and infrastructure, financing innovative national projects and large-scale modernization.

"I am convinced that your traditional forum, having united the efforts of the authorities, business and the expert community, will develop specific practical ideas and proposals which will provide the basis for positive macroeconomic processes and assist in solving complex social tasks."
