Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends greeting to participants and guests of 23rd Moscow International Book Fair
The message reads in part:
"This impressive fair can be rightly considered the main national book forum and a large-scale demonstration of literary and cultural achievements. Paying our respects to books is a Russian national tradition. A good book instills the best qualities in people and teaches them good. It cultivates moral values such as sense of duty, honour and true patriotism.
I am confident that this fair will become a special event in the country's spiritual life, popularising serious literature of high quality and leading readers to discover new brilliant writers in the world of prose and poetry.
I wish the fair great success and further prosperity and I hope its guests will experience many positive emotions and have memorable meetings."
