Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a greeting to the participants and guests of the Svenskaya Fair in the Bryansk Region

The message reads, in part:

"It is gratifying that the Bryansk Region is actively reviving the glorious tradition of fairs. For centuries, renowned Russian fairs attracted people, staged a real celebration and served to develop social, trade and production ties. I am confident that the current Svenskaya Fair will more fully reveal the Bryansk Region's considerable economic and agro-industrial potential and will help launch new interregional and international cooperation projects, including those with the participation of Belarus and Ukraine, our closest neighbors."
