Prime Minister Vladimir Putin speaks with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov over the telephone

Vladimir Putin thanked the Bulgarian government for helping fight wildfires in Russia. He emphasised that Bulgarian firefighters have been working hard in the Noginsk and Orekhovo-Zuyevo districts of the Moscow Region.

The two leaders also discussed other issues of bilateral cooperation, including the future of the project to build the Belene nuclear power station and the route of the South Stream gas pipeline through Bulgaria.
