Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a message of condolence to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the numerous human casualties and severe destruction caused by floods in the state of Jammu and Kashmir
The message reads, in part:
"Please accept my sincere condolences on the numerous human casualties and severe destruction caused by floods in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. We share the grief of all those Indian citizens who have lost people dear to them.
I wish the government and people of your country resilience and courage in their continuing battle with the elements. I am sure that the consequences of this terrible disaster can be overcome."
