Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends message of congratulations to Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif in honour of Revolution Day, a national holiday marking Egyptian Revolution of July 23, 1952
The message reads, in parts:
"It is my great pleasure to say the relations between Russia and Egypt, which have always been characterised by a spirit of friendship and mutual respect, have now reached the level of strategic partnership. I am confident that continued joint projects in industry, energy, hi-tech and other sectors will further strengthen Russian-Egyptian ties."
