Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sends a telegram of greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the Large Helmet competition

The telegram reads in part:

"Judo is justifiably popular in our country and it attracts more talented athletes and loyal fans every year. This sport, with its entertainment value, beauty and emotional intensity, fosters self-esteem, courage and dignity. And of course, judo, as well as other athletic disciplines, plays an invaluable role in the upbringing of young people and the promotion of an active lifestyle."
