During the past decades, your institution has experienced many important events and bright achievements and became one of the most recognised leaders in Russian higher technical education. Renowned scientists, talented teachers and schools of applied science and engineering are engaged in the institute's work. MISIS has trained tens of thousands of high-skilled specialists that are now working in Russia and abroad.

MISIS was one of the first in Russia to receive the status of a national research university, which proved the quality and efficiency of its scientific and educational activities.

I am sure that MISIS will maintain its advanced standing and will make a great contribution to the training of specialists for modern, high-technology industries.
