The nuclear power industry is growing rapidly today. The demand for efficient and safe nuclear technology continues to grow. Russia, with a large scientific and industrial potential in this field, has traditionally been considered a leader in fundamental and applied research as well as in the construction and use of nuclear power plants.

We need to nourish and develop this potential, taking advantage of wide ranging international cooperation. I am sure that ATOMEXPO will be a useful tool for discussing problems in this field while focusing on utilizing the most advanced R&D achievements, general modernization and innovation in the country.
